In the budget motions, the total for the ‘interim periods’ line appears to be exactly double the per-period amount – for example, $169.40 shown with a total of $338.80. Are owners expected to pay the doubled figure, or is this a typo?

In short:

  • This is a typo!
  • Owners pay the interim levies as listed for the period 01–Aug–2026 to 31–Oct–2026.
  • A typo of this nature does not materially impact the validity of the motion, but reissuing the AGM notice to fix it would cause the AGM to be rescheduled unnecessarily.

During the session, the Secretary confirmed it is a typo. There were 2 interim levy periods on the AGM notice – when other corrections were requested, that error was not caught. The Secretary further advised that reissuing the AGM notice to correct a typo is not appropriate – doing so restarts the notice period, causing further delay – and that the error does not materially affect what owners are voting on.

We encourage owners to read the levies page and refer any questions to the committee.

The relevant motions (the second part of motions 5 and 6 starting ‘And further that’) actually have the effect of authorising the committee to issue interim levies for the following financial year. That is the extent of that part’s effect.

We strongly recommend that owners review the following information:
